My week thus far

WEDNESDAY
1 English muffin = 0 pts. (Get these!! They are Thomas' Light Whole Grain - 100 cals, 1 g fat, 8 g fiber)
2 tbsp. margarine = 2 pts.
2 slices whole wheat bread = 2 pts
2 slices ham = 2 pts.
1 chicken breast = 5 pts.
2 c. Caesar salad = 0 pts.
2 tbsp. Caesar dressing = 4 pts.
6 Crotons = 1 pt.
2 Oreas = 3 pts.
Water all day = 0 pts.

TOTAL: 19 points (The first time I've actually fallen within -- and at the lower end of -- my goal points!)

THURSDAY
1 English muffin = 0 pts.
2 tbsp. margarine = 2 pts.
2 c. Caesar salad = 0 pts.
2 tbsp. Caesar dressing = 4 pts.
6 Croutons = 1 pt.
Chicken breast = 3 pts.
Wok oil = 4 pts.
Teryaki sauce = 1 pt.
1/2 c. Mixed veggies = 0 pts.
1/4 c. rice = 3 pts.
Water all day = 0 pts.

TOTAL: 18 pts (Made it to my lowest number! Woot! And before dinner, though I'll refrain from weighing now, I was at W-2 lbs.)

Now off to the bar with Matt, Nate, and Mer. I will be good, though, by ordering just water--I think Mer is doing the same, so that will help. Tomorrow will be a doozy -- Matt and I are throwing a party... hot dogs, burgers, chips, beer, rum, coke, etc. I don't want to have to be worried about the point value of every little thing, but I'll TRY not to overindulge.

P.S. It's getting hard not eating a whole heck of a lot. My stomach began to eat itself this afternoon, and I KNOW I could have reached for some carrots or something, but that's just not what I wanted. I really could have gone for some Doritos.

FRIDAY's PLAN
1 c. Fiber One Cereal = 1
1 English muffin = 0
2 tbsp. margarine = 2 pts.
1 c. applesauce = 1
1 hot dog = 7
Hot dog bun = 2
1 tsp. ketchup = 0
Baked Lays or Baked Tostitos = 2 (but will probably wind up being 4) pts.
2 Miller Lites = 4 (two rum and cokes would bring me to 8)

TOTAL: 21

Okay, so I have 2 points of wiggle room, which means it'd be better to overindulge on chips than on an extra hot dog. Or I could do the hot dog-no bun combo. Nah. Rough day. Man, I wonder how many points that was when Uncle Dan and I had our weenie wars... let's see. I had 6 plus buns, so that must have added up to 42+12= 54 points in one afternoon! Hurrah for having a nine-year-old's metabolism!
