I feel very, very good about this week. I hit every single one of the goals I set for myself last week - no eating after 9, 32 oz of water, work out every day, counted and logged everything I ate. I only weigh myself once a week, so we'll see what kind of results I got tomorrow morning.

After my relative success with making those stuffed chicken breasts, I've gotten this sudden - and foreign - urge to start experimenting with cooking. Part of my problem with "dieting" has always been lack of variety because I don't really know how to cook for myself. Chicken breasts, sandwiches, and pasta can only keep you entertained for so long. So I think I'm going to make it my goal to try at least two new recipes per week. It would be really nice to start the school year with a stockpile of recipes that are simple and quick so I can eat well during the school year, which is typically when everything health-related goes to hell in a handbasket for me. This week's recipes will be White Wine Pesto Turkey Burgers and Deep Dish Pizza Casserole. If they're good, I'll probably be eating it for the rest of the week!

OK, here are my goals for next week, in addition to continuing w/ last week's goals:
1) Increase water intake to 64oz (and get prepared to live in the bathroom)
2) Increase length of cardio workouts by 7-10 minutes
3) Add weight training at least 5 days
4) Try two new recipes
