I don't drink much, so I don't feel guilty when I do)

If you read that...at least you can't say I didn't warn you! So yeah, last week was ugly. But I didn't go overboard, really...there just wasn't much in the way of healthy food.

The good news is that I lost 3.2 pounds this week! I don't quite know how I did that, since I skipped working out 3 days last week, but I did and I'll take it. Total weight loss is currently 15.2 pounds - thrilled! These first few weeks when the weight comes off very quickly are always exciting...I just have to learn to maintain my pace when it slows down, because it will.

I'm home now and ready to get back on track. I cleaned out my fridge and went grocery shopping yesterday, so I'm looking forward to doing some cooking this week. I have the ingredients to possibly create 3 new recipes this week. Tonight I'll be trying a deep dish pizza casserole that I've been looking forward to for 2 weeks now. Other recipes to try this week are Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken over brown rice and then an unnamed BBQ chicken recipe that looks pretty simple.

This week:
1) keep going for 64oz of water a day
2) three new recipes
3) increase workout
4) no eating past 9pm (got a bit lax with that this week)

No need to get complicated. Here's to another good week!

Um. Excuse me. Since when did you do shots? Because everytime we hang out, you're like, "Noooo.. I don't DOOOO shots!" Is this because we're not really friends?

of all the things you could have chosen to comment on from this god-forsakenly long post, i love that you chose the 3 shots. THAT'S why we're friends.

i don't (can't, really, unless me throwing up all over your counter is secretly something you want) do shots of straight hard liquor, which is the only thing you ever want to take shots of. so maybe if you make me some beej shots, i'll be all over it.
