Again, all things considered, this wasn't a terrible week. I lost another 2 pounds (today being weigh-in) so I'm happy about that. The last four days or so were very weird, and there isn't a lot in terms of healthy food on there - not many veggies and fruits, etc. I will say that I love these Johnsonville Turkey Cheddar smoked sausages. They are the same points value as a regular lite hot dog but way more filling, so I've been eating a lot of those as they are easy lunch options. What I really need to do is concentrate on eating more fruits and vegetables. But I have made some healthy changes overall, including swapping ground beef for turkey, whole wheat pasta for the bleached flour kind, egg substitute for real eggs (most of the time,) and lower fat/calorie chips and snacks. It's a good start.
Hmm, last week's goals...I think the only one I accomplished was drinking 64oz of water every day. The others...just did not happen. I did work out every day but the 4th, and I lifted weights a couple times but definitely not 5 days. I only increased my workout by 4 or 5 minutes - I thought it would be way more, but alas, the distance I added was shorter than I'd estimated. And I tried one new recipe, but never had the time to make another one. Ah well...there's time.
This week I'm at my parents' house because of a wedding and wedding-related festivities in Indiana. Seriously, it's no longer economically feasible to drive back and forth because of gas, so I'm here until next Sunday. That will make cooking for myself more difficult, so I'm not going to make a cooking goal. I will continue with the water goal and the working out every day goal...next week I'll add some more.
