Well. I bet if you took a picture of all the food I consumed during this week, it would be very beige/orange. Which is not good for you, according to the numerous TLC documentary's I've seen on the subject of people who eat 33,000 calories a day or some shite. The good news is that I get to go grocery shopping today, so I'll finally have some healthy food again. Oh fresh chicken breasts, I've missed you so :-)
Alright, the weight update. I lost 2.4 lbs this week, which is wholly unbelievable and I don't know why that happened. This brings the total lost to 23.4 lbs. Somewhere in my math along the weeks I screwed up because the numbers don't make sense in my head from week to week, but looking at my starting number on June 23 and the number from today, I've lost 23.4 lbs. Oh how I wish I was going to lose weight this week. Just not going to happen with everything that's going on. I'll be satisfied with not gaining too much - hopefully none at all.
Gosh, I feel great right now. Yesterday I was in a mega-funk about this weight loss, and today I'm just feeling refreshed. Yes, it helps that I had a loss, but mentally I just feel better. It has been a bit of a struggle the last two weeks; I've gotten super lax about exercising (even if DDR *is* a fantastice creation) and my water intake has been poo. Not to mention just not eating good foods. But I got a haircut on Friday and it looks cute and finally my face looks like it's getting thinner. AND my hairdresser raved about how great I looked, which never fails to make me shake my head, because when I look at myself I think, "Really?? I've still got a hundred pounds to lose, lady!" She lent me some Weight Watchers cook books too, which was the sweetest thing - it's not like we're super close or anything. So I'm going to look through those for more recipe ideas. I actually think starting to cook for myself again will help me get back in the groove.
Well this is short by my standards but I have a bajillion things to do today before Ashley gets here tonight. Hope this next week is a good one!
